2. Information handled when you visit

Our hosting infrastructure processes your IP address and basic connection and request information to deliver pages and protect the service. Routine access logging is disabled for this website. Server error or security logs may still contain technical request information, such as an IP address, requested path or error details.

This site does not provide a registration form, accept story or media uploads, or ask for payment details. Its images and styles are served from this same website; we do not load third-party analytics, advertising scripts or external fonts.

3. When you contact us

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message and any information you include. We use this information to answer your enquiry, provide support and address privacy or security concerns. Email is handled through our email service provider, Google/Gmail.

Please do not send passwords, OAuth client secrets, identity documents or private stories by email. We do not need these to answer a general enquiry.

4. Cookies, advertising and Google data

This static website does not set application cookies or use local storage for tracking. It does not run ads or collect advertising identifiers. We do not sell information collected through this website.

Google sign-in is not enabled on this website, and it does not request access to your Google account, Gmail, Drive, contacts or other Google API data. Creating development OAuth credentials does not itself give this website access to that information.

Before an app release introduces Google sign-in, ads, AI processing or other personal-data features, we will provide an updated notice explaining the actual data requested, purposes, providers, retention and available controls. Those future features are not covered as active services by this notice.

5. Service providers and disclosure

The website is hosted on a Hostinger VPS. Our hosting and email providers process information necessary to deliver their respective services. Provider processing may occur outside your country under the provider's own arrangements.

We may disclose relevant information where required by applicable law or where necessary to address abuse, protect the service or respond to a legitimate legal request. We do not make visitor information publicly available.

6. Retention and security

Technical logs follow the server's log-rotation settings. Email correspondence is retained while needed to handle your enquiry and any related follow-up, dispute or applicable record-keeping obligation. You can ask us to delete correspondence we no longer need.

The website uses HTTPS to protect information in transit. No internet service or email system can guarantee absolute security. Do not include sensitive personal information in a URL or general enquiry.

7. Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask about information held in connection with your enquiry, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern. We may need proportionate information to verify a request; we will not ask for your password. Any applicable rights and exceptions depend on your location and the circumstances.

There is no public Anecdo account to delete through this website. This statement is not a replacement for account-deletion controls and notices that will be required before a public app launch.

This website does not offer accounts or collect submissions from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us so we can review and address it.

We will update this page when the website's practices change, and revise the effective date above. This policy does not describe the practices of unrelated websites or other subdomains.
